“Product Design Assistant” (PDA), is a two part software utility for either AutoDesk Inventor or SolidWorks, and is aimed at mechanical engineers/machinery manufacturers.
The software can reduce or even eliminate time consuming tasks faced by the design engineering and/or purchasing departments!
When using AutoDesk Inventor or SolidWorks, simply, by pressing the "SAVE" button, PDA automatically creates all the relevant files necessary, for processing, quietly without any performance loss.
Create a top level "Bill of Materials"
Create a "PDF" copy of detail drawings
Specify part properties, prior to saving
Send an email to a customer for drawing approval
Send detail drawings to suppliers for quotations
Print detail drawings for checking purposes
Print detail drawings for manufacture/assembly
Print purchase order request forms
Add/edit part costs and supplier
Add/edit customer and supplier details
Set printers for all paper sizes (A0 to A4)
Show a drawing in "Full Screen" mode
Easily search for that part using "Google"
Export all part details to “SAGE”
